Harrow Weald residents have been on alert after a series of thefts from motor vehicles in the area over the last few weeks.
According to a statement released to Harrow Online by the police, they have identified a female suspect who they believe is responsible for the thefts.
CCTV footage and images obtained by local police from Harrow Weald are helping them gain evidence in their investigation and they now believe they have a solid lead in the case.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “We are aware of a female who has been linked to one or more reports of theft from motor vehicles in Harrow during February of 2023. We have gathered CCTV and believe that we have managed to identify the female suspect within these thefts.
“Police will be seeking to arrest this female at the earliest opportunity. The investigation is currently still ongoing.”
