Harrow Council Library Service and the London Transport Museum are offering an exciting opportunity to school pupils in Harrow, to mark British Science Week. Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils are invited to participate in two online learning events that will be streamed live from the museum.
The first event, aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils, will take place on Friday 17 March from 10 to 10.45am. The pupils will go on a time-traveling mission to explore the changing face of London transport. The event will be streamed live from TfL’s museum in Covent Garden, giving pupils an opportunity to learn about the history of transport in London.
The second event, aimed at Key Stage 2 pupils, will take place on Tuesday 14 March from 10 to 11am. During this event, pupils will learn about environmentally friendly transport solutions and be given the skills to engineer themselves.
Both events promise to be a fun and interactive way for pupils to learn about the science behind transport and its impact on the environment. Teachers and educators can contact Harrow Library Service to make bookings for classes or year groups.
