Edgware incident: Police cordon off parade of shops

Police and paramedics descended on a parade of shops near Edgware Station last night (March 19) as they rushed to the scene of a fight.

The shops in the immediate area of the incident on Station Road, Edgware, were been cordoned off by police after a person was ‘cut’.

According to eyewitnesses, the area was swarmed with emergency services, with multiple police cars and ambulances seen at the scene.

Met Police confirmed that an altercation took place in Edgware, Harrow last night, resulting in superficial cuts to an individual. They also confirmed that no arrests have been made.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday (19 March) at 2:52pm to reports of an incident on Station Road, Edgware.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an advanced paramedic, an ambulance crew, and two medics in fast response cars.

“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
