Stolen vehicles recovered in Harrow

Police in Pinner have successfully recovered two stolen vehicles in the past week thanks to information provided by vigilant residents.

The first vehicle, a Range Rover, was recovered on Thursday 16 March just before 9am after a resident of The Chase in Pinner reported suspicious activity to the Pinner Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT). The vehicle had been stolen by means of burglary in Harrow.

Just a few days prior, on 13 March at around 8pm, Pinner South SNT tweeted that a stolen Audi had been recovered less than 48 hours after it was stolen in Hatch End.

The recovery was made possible by the diligent efforts of PC 2351NW, who located the vehicle in Grove Avenue in Pinner. Police in Pinner are urging residents to take steps to protect their vehicles from theft.

However, they want to reassure the public in Harrow that it’s possible to do so without breaking the bank. They’ve provided budget-friendly advice on crime prevention on the Metropolitan Police website. The advice can be found here.
