Firefighters rushed to Harrow Town Centre early yesterday morning after reports of an automatic fire alarm sounding at a property on Kymberley Road.
Fire engines from Harrow, Wembley, and Northolt fire stations quickly responded to the call, after being called at 2:29am.
However, after an investigation, it was established that there was no fire and the incident turned out to be a false alarm. The crews quickly wrapped up their work and left the scene at 3:11 am, ensuring that the area was safe.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “Firefighters responded to a report of an automatic fire alarm sounding at a property on Kymberley Road in Harrow on March 26.
“Crews attended the scene but following investigation, they established there was no fire.
“The Brigade was called at 0229 and the incident was over for firefighters by 0311. Fire engines from Harrow, Wembley and Northolt fire stations attended the scene.”
