Roadworks cause travel disruption for Harrow residents until April

Multiple roadworks across Harrow and Brent and Barnet this week are likely to cause delays for drivers from March 28th through April 3rd.

In Harrow, Long Elmes, which is closed off from Headstone Lane to Theobald Crescent since 27 March, continues to cause disruption with no end date announced as yet. Alexandra Avenue and Rayners Lane will also be affected by roadworks from today, March 28th. Harrow Council will be responsible for these works, and two-way signals will be in place to manage traffic flow.

Also in Harrow, Kenton Road will be undergoing roadworks from March 30th to April 3rd. Priority working will be in place to manage traffic flow.

Transport for London will be responsible for roadworks on East Lane in Wembley, Brent, from March 28th. A contra-flow system will be put in place to manage traffic.

Virgin Media will be conducting works on Preston Road in Wembley, Brent, from March 29th to 31st. Two-way signals will be in place to manage traffic flow.

Affinity Water will be conducting essential maintenance work on Page Street in Barnet from March 30th to April 3rd. Priority working will be in place, but little disruption is expected.

In Barnet, Church Road will be affected by roadworks from March 30th to 31st. Stop/Go boards will be in place to manage traffic flow.

Dollis Road in Finchley, Barnet, will be undergoing roadworks from March 30th to April 3rd. Stop/Go boards will be in place to manage traffic flow.

Additionally, Finchley Road in Barnet will be undergoing roadworks from March 29th to 31st. Stop/Go boards will be in place to manage traffic flow.

Finally, three separate patches of roadworks will be underway on Prince Charles Drive in Barnet from March 29th to 31st. Stop/Go boards will be in place to manage traffic flow, with a total of 11.5 square meters of patchwork expected to take place.

Drivers in Harrow are advised to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time if driving in or around these areas during the specified dates.
