Honeypot Lane in Queensbury was closed off for over and hour last night due to a collision at around 8pm.
The road was closed off in both directions as a result. The closure caused significant traffic disruptions, with bus routes 79, 288, and 324 being affected.
One resident, who wished to remain anonymous, sent an image to Harrow Online showing the road completely closed off by police.
The road was finally cleared at around 10:45pm, allowing traffic to resume.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.53pm yesterday (7 April) to reports of a road traffic collision on Honeypot Lane, Stanmore.
“We sent two ambulance crews and a clinical team manager to the scene.
“We treated two people for injuries before taking them to hospital.”
