We had the pleasure of visiting the recently opened Market Place in Harrow Town Centre, and we must say that the experience was absolutely spot-on.
To start with, the food options at Market Place are truly outstanding – a variety of cuisines and menu options from around the world. From Argentinian grilled meats to traditional Japanese bento boxes, as well as sweet treats and drinks.
From the good vibes to the fantastic food selection, everything about the place was refreshing for the area, a nice change for Harrow and something unique in the town centre.
As we walked in, we were greeted with a bustling and lively atmosphere.
The bar had a great selection of drinks on tap, including Peroni, Asahi, Meantime, Guinness, and their very own Market Place cider. They also have a great variety of cocktails and spirits on offer.
Now, let’s talk about the food. We tried a variety of dishes from different stalls, and each one was unique and delicious in its own way.
The Steak and Salad from the Argentine Grill was a perfect combination of tender meat and fresh greens.
The Chicken Chilli Momo from Peppee Spice was packed with flavour and spice, perfect for someone looking for something hot and hearty.
The Tempura Prawn Bento and Beef Bao from Little Tokyo were equally good and had us wanting more.
Some of the things we didn’t try but are popular include kebabs, Sides chicken and the pizzas – everything is halal.
The place, especially the decor, largely had a Box Park vibe to it – which is either a good or a bad thing depending on your personal preference. The staff were attentive.
Overall, the Market Place Harrow experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the selection was top-notch.
We can definitely see this place becoming a hot spot in the summer months, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out or just wanting to try something new.
