Headstone Manor Museum in Harrow is inviting families to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King with a day of fun-filled activities on the upcoming bank holiday weekend.
The event will take place on Monday, May 8th, from 12-5pm and will be suitable for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy live performances, workshops, craft and food stalls, and even meet ‘The Monarchs’ at the open theatre show! The event will feature a variety of activities including circus skills, a magic workshop, interactive games, balloon modelling, sword fighting, and medieval dancing, among many others. The event we are looking forward to the most however is the special Play Your Cards Right game with a ‘Horrible Histories’ twist!.
Tickets for the event are priced at £4 for standard admission, £2.50 for seniors and children under 12, and free for children under two. A group of four can book at a discounted rate of £10 by adding four standard tickets to their basket. Bookings can be made online, with a non-refundable booking fee of £1 per transaction.
Those attending the event as full-time carers can enter for free. To book free carer tickets, visitors can call 020 3771 7161. Proof of eligibility may be required on entry.
Visitors booking online will also receive a free Union Jack Flag on the day. However, it is important to note that parking is not available at the event.
The celebrations will take place in the beautiful outdoor space of Headstone Manor Museum, where visitors can explore the Manor and spot the royal guards roaming the grounds. They can also take a Nature Wetland tour around the grounds or visit the exhibitions in the Museum showcasing the local history of Harrow.
