Roadworks on Marsh Road, Pinner have caused travel disruption for commuters, with delays of up to half an hour reported.
The works, which are being carried out by Affinity Water, are expected to last from 20th to 26th April, according to the One Network website.
The roadworks have resulted in a road closure and traffic lights being installed, with delays likely for road users.
Affinity Water has stated that the works are essential maintenance to improve their service, and that they usually cause little disruption to road users.
However, one person who was affected by the roadworks expressed frustration, saying that it was “crazy” and that they had trouble picking up their son from the station due to the delays.
It is important for commuters and road users to plan their journeys accordingly during this period of roadworks and to allow extra time for potential delays.
Jason P told Harrow Online: “I’m one of many people affected, I am really trying to get to Pinner as my cousin is there each day but it’s causing an issue. So many cars sat in traffic. It’s especially bad around the end of the school day. Hopefully it’ll be sorted soon!.”
