A man aged in his 20s has been stabbed at St George’s Shopping Centre in Harrow this afternoon.
Witnesses have described a large police presence on Greenhill Way, Harrow Town Centre at the back of St George’s Shopping Centre.
An an air ambulance landed in Harrow Recreation Ground on Roxbourough Road, and an ambulance has been spotted on the field.
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called to a reported stabbing at 15:11hrs on Monday, 24 April to St Georges Shopping Centre, Greenhill Way, Harrow,
“A man in his mid-20s was found with a stab-wound to his leg.
“He was taken to hospital – his condition awaits.
“His next of kin have been informed.
“A crime scene is in place. No arrests.
“Enquiries continue.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday (24 April) at 3:01pm to reports of an incident on St Ann’s Road, Harrow.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an incident response officer, two ambulance crews, and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART). We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”
