A collision occurred on Preston Road in the early hours of the morning, Tuesday April 25th.
The incident has resulted in the closure of the road in both directions.
The police have blocked the road in both directions. The closure is expected to cause significant delays for commuters and motorists in the area.
The collision has also affected bus routes, with the 79 and 204 services being diverted due to the road closure. BBC Radio Travel have referred to this a ‘police investigation’ according to a tweet sent out just after 6:00am.

The public is advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes if possible until the road is reopened.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 01:16hrs on 25 April to Preston Road, Wembley, after a car collided with a tree.
“A male was taken to hospital. His condition is not life-threatening.”
