Suspect arrested after breaking into Rayners Lane property

A person has been arrested after breaking into a property in Rayners Lane on 23rd April.

Local PCSO Truptesh Joshi posted the news on the OWL website regarding the burglary that took place in Rayners Lane.

According to the report, the burglary occurred between 9pm and 9:29pm on the street between 201 to 291 Rayners Lane.

The suspect entered the property by smashing the rear patio door. Fortunately, a neighbour called the police after hearing glass smashing while the occupants of the address were not at home.

Police arrived at the location within a few minutes and were able to arrest the suspect.
This is the second incident of burglary on the same street.

PCSO Truptesh Joshi urges residents to take all necessary actions to prevent burglary at their addresses.

To that end, Rayners Lane SNT will carry out target patrols in the area. Additionally, a Crime Prevention Street Briefing will be conducted at Rayners Lane, Harrow outside 247 at 3:30 pm on 29th April 2023.

The police advise residents to take measures such as locking all doors and windows, not leaving keys outside, and installing security lights and alarms to prevent crime.

They also urge residents to report any suspicious activity in the area to the police.
