Harrow’s newest street food venue, Market Place Harrow, has enjoyed a successful launch with almost 5,000 visitors in its first week of trading.
The 300-capacity venue offers a selection of street food from around the world, including eight permanent traders, and is the third physical location for viral YouTube collective, Sides by The Sidemen.
Harrow Town Centre customers have shown a particular love for Cantonese stir-fry, with Pepper Spice’s “brilliant boxes” selling almost 1,000 units in the opening week, while Peroni was the most popular beer sold and the Market Place’s “Tropicali” the most popular cocktail.
Blake Henderson, managing director of Market Place London, said, “There was a real buzz about the venue from the minute we opened our doors, and we were really happy to see such a strong turnout in our first week of operation.
”It signals a bright future ahead and is a true testament to the hard work of the full team, our vendors and service staff.”
Market Place Harrow is located at 80-84 St Ann’s Road, HA1 1JX, and is open Monday to Sunday from 11.00 am ’til late. The site is cashless, wheelchair accessible, and caters to all dietary requirements. The venue is family and dog-friendly and offers freshly made juices, coffee, and free Wi-Fi for locals.
