Stanmore Stabbing: Crime scene in place as man rushed to hospital

A man in his 30s has been stabbed in Stanmore today (30 April).

An air ambulance was spotted landing at Centenary Park, located next to Park High School on Culver Grove in Stanmore.

A man has been rushed to a major trauma centre as a result of the incident.

Eyewitnesses reported a large police presence at the scene, a police cordon is in place on Charmian Avenue in Stanmore. One member of Harrow Online Group reported the ambulance drifting over their property prior to landing.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10:46am today (30 April) to an incident on Charmian Avenue in Stanmore.

“We sent multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a medic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated one patient at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 10:55hrs on Sunday, 30 April to Charmian Avenue, Stanmore, following reports of a stabbing.

“Officers responded and following a search of the area they located a man aged in his 30s with stab injuries.

“He was taken to hospital; his condition is not life-threatening.

“No arrests have been made at this early stage.

“A crime scene is in place and enquiries are ongoing.”
