Two schoolgirls were involved in a fight at Harrow on the Hill Station today, Thursday, 4 May.
A large group of youngsters watched the altercation, which resulted in one girl being rushed to hospital. The police were called to the scene and conveyed the injured child to a north London hospital, where her injuries are thought to be non-life-threatening.
A member of Harrow Online Group said: “Two girls are fighting at Harrow Station, there’s police trying to separate them.”
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “At 15:49hrs on Thursday, 4 May police received a report of two schoolgirls fighting watched by a large group of youngsters at Harrow on the Hill Station.
“Officers attended. At the scene a girl, no further details, had been injured. Officers conveyed the child to a north London hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
“Another girl was arrested. She was taken to a north London police station.
“Enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone who witnessed this incident or has footage but has not yet spoken with police should call 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 4522/4MAY.”
