Headstone Manor and Museum hosted a special coronation celebration day today in honour of His Majesty, King Charles III.
The event attracted hundreds of residents who enjoyed an array of performances, food, and entertainment.
Local musical acts such as Harrow Steel, Barefoot School of Performing Arts and the amazing Kidology Dance Co put on fantastic performances, featuring students of all age groups.
Food stalls lined the area outside, offering pizza from the 6th Harrow Scouts, Caribbean Fusion Street Food, fish & chips, and more.
Inside the museum barn, vendors sold everything from handmade fudge and cookies to unique playing cards, craft ornaments, and framed pictures. Some of the businesses on hand included Letterbox Cookie, Sara’s Beads London, Lunar Chi and The Plain Shop – to name just a few.
The event also offered rides for smaller children, including bumper cars and tea cups.
Jad Price who’s son was performing at the event told Harrow Online: “After going to the Pinner event yesterday, I thought we wouldn’t be lucky with the weather but the rain seems to have stopped, everyone deserved credit today – this has been one of the best events I’ve been to here. Best one since the Jubilee last year for sure.”
Despite the prediction of rain, the weather held out, and everyone had a fantastic time. The coronation celebration day was a huge success and a fitting tribute to His Majesty King Charles III.
Parents looking to get their children involved in the performing arts can reach out to the groups participating at the event.
