Stabbing incident in Harrow car park leaves victim hospitalised

A stabbing occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning at the car park in Christchurch Avenue, next to the skate park in Wealdstone, according to a statement released by the Metropolitan Police.

The incident was reported at approximately 4:00am on Sunday morning (7th May), and police officers arrived at the scene to find evidence of a stabbing, but no victim was present. Images shared with Harrow Online showed a police cordon next to the car park and forensics at the scene.

In a statement, Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 04:00hrs on Sunday, 7 May to reports of a stabbing at a leisure centre car park in Christchurch.

“Officers attended. At the scene evidence of a stabbing was found, however, no victim was present.

“The victim was later located at a hospital where his injuries were not life-threatening.

“A crime scene was established but has since been removed.

“There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing.”
