Greenford Station: Large emergency service presence reported

Emergency services rushed to Greenford Station yesterday evening in response to a reported casualty on the tracks, yet to be confirmed by authorities.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 7:30pm, led to the partial suspension of the Central Line between West Ruislip and North Acton.

Transport for London (TfL) tweeted about the incident at 7:52pm, informing commuters that the service had been affected due to an ongoing incident on the tracks, but did not specify Greenford as the location.

The tweet said: “The Central line is part suspended between West Ruislip and North Acton while we deal with a casualty on the track. We will update our website as soon as any changes take place.”

Numerous ambulances were seen outside Greenford Station.
