The team at Harrow fish and chip shop, Barracuda, are celebrating a significant milestone in their history as they mark an incredible 25 years in business.
The popular chip shop and restaurant, which is situated in the heart of the community at The Quadrant in Headstone Gardens, has become a local institution, serving up delicious food and providing a friendly and welcoming environment for all its customers.
Owner Yiannis Christofis expressed his gratitude to the local community, friends, family, staff, and customers who have supported the business over the years. In a heartfelt Facebook post, Christofis thanked everyone for making the last 25 years of cooking possible, and shared his joy and pride in seeing generations grow, despite facing various challenges along the way.
Barracuda has become a beloved Harrow eatery, winning numerous awards over the years, including the Good Food Awards winner for the last four years in a row.
The shop’s menu has become a staple for locals and visitors alike, with classic fish and chips, pies, and burgers on offer, alongside many vegetarian and gluten-free options – they cater for everyone’s needs and are very allergen conscious.
Speaking about the milestone, Christofis said: “I’m honoured and humbled” to have been part of this community for so long.
We would like to offer our congratulations to Yiannis and his team! We look forward to another 25 years.
