Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters rushed to Colindale this afternoon to tackle a fire at a flat on Heybourne Crescent.
The Brigade confirmed that half of a five-roomed flat on the second floor of a six-storey building was alight. There have been no reports of any injuries.
London Fire Brigade were called at 2:01pm and the fire was under control by 3:06pm. Crews from Hendon, Stanmore, Finchley, West Hampstead and Islington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
