Firefighters rush to Kingsbury after smoke spotted by residents

A fire broke out on Church Lane in Kingsbury this morning, prompting a swift response from the London Fire Brigade.

The incident, which occurred on May 19, was reported to the Brigade’s 999 Control Officers who received 12 calls alerting them to the situation.

According to a statement released by the London Fire Brigade, firefighters were dispatched to Kingsbury promptly upon receiving the emergency calls. The Brigade’s team was alerted at 08:41am, and by 08:50am, the fire had been successfully extinguished, bringing the incident to a rapid conclusion.

Local residents posted images and footage of the fire on social media and expressed their gratitude for the rapid response and efficient efforts of the London Fire Brigade.

London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “Firefighters attended reports of a fire on Church Lane this morning (May 19). The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers received 12 calls about the incident.

“The Brigade was called at 0841 and the incident was over for firefighters by 0850. A crew from Stanmore Fire Station attended the scene.”
