Pinner Fair is just around the corner and the Pinner Association has revealed a list of road closures in place for the big day.
This annual Harrow event promises an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages. However, fairgoers should be prepared for temporary changes in public transport arrangements during the festivities, which will take place next week on Wednesday, 31 May.
To ensure a smooth flow of traffic and prioritise the safety of pedestrians, the Pinner Association has announced several vehicle traffic restrictions in the area.
From approximately 15:00 on 30 May until about 8:00 on 1 June, buses traveling through Pinner will be diverted down West End Lane. Specifically, the H11, H12, and H13 bus routes will be affected. Meanwhile, the 183 bus route will start and terminate near Pinner Library.
In addition, various roads will experience closures or restricted access during this period. The High Street and Bridge Street will be completely closed to vehicles, ensuring a pedestrian-friendly environment.
In addition, the following roads will have restricted access: Love Lane, Waxwell Lane, Elm Park Road, Marsh Road, Chapel Lane, Station Approach, Paines Lane, Church Lane, Grange Gardens, and Cecil Park.
To mitigate potential parking challenges, fair attendees are advised to use public transport where possible or consider walking to the event.
While specific information about available car parks has not yet been provided, using alternative means of transportation will likely offer a smoother and more convenient experience.
We recently posted a story about some of the exhilarating rides that will be at the fair this year, and it’s shaping up to be quite the event. Visitors can expect a delightful celebration showcasing the vibrant spirit of Pinner’s community!.
