Person pronounced dead at Stonebridge Park Station

Yesterday, British Transport Police responded to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Stonebridge Park station at approximately 7am.

Paramedics were swiftly dispatched to the station, but despite their efforts, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Bakerloo Line was part suspended at the time of the incident.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Stonebridge Park at 7am on 29 May following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended; however, sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The British Transport Police spokesperson also mentioned that the incident is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
