Firefighters tackle blaze at disused bus depot in Wealdstone

Firefighters rushed to Wealdstone today to reports of construction material on fire.

The incident happened at around 3pm this afternoon (31 May) as two fire engines were dispatched to an disused bus depot on Christchurch Ave.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “Firefighters tackled a fire near Christchurch Avenue in Harrow this afternoon.

“Construction material being stored at a disused bus depot was alight. There were no reports of any injuries.

“The Brigade was called at 1507 and the fire was under control by 1536. Two fire engines from Harrow and Stanmore fire stations attended the scene.”
