Five roads across Harrow set to close for essential roadworks

Harrow residents should prepare for temporary road closures and possible delays as Affinity Water undertakes essential maintenance work in the area.

Five roads in different parts of Harrow will be affected, with the works scheduled to begin on Monday, June 5, and continue until various dates throughout the week.

Clewer Crescent in Harrow Weald will be closed from June 5 to June 9. Similar closures will be in place on Gordon Road in Wealdstone, Green Lane in Stanmore and The Avenue in Hatch End.

Uxbridge Road in Hatch End will also have a lane closure. Each of these closures is expected to last between two to five days, depending on the location.

During this time, road users can expect delays due to the necessary traffic management measures. Affinity Water is responsible for the works, which aim to improve their service to the community.

These maintenance activities encompass several tasks such as stop tap replacements, meter fits, leak detection, and fixes, among others.

Some inconvenience and slower traffic flow are anticipated due to the roadworks. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow extra time for their journeys.

Harrow Online will keep readers informed about any developments and updates related to the road closures and Affinity Water’s maintenance activities.
