Some residents in the HA3 area were without water this morning due to a burst pipe in Wealdstone.
Wealdstone High Street Closed
Pictures and videos shared to Harrow Online Group on Facebook show flooding in Wealdstone High Street, which is now closed in both directions due to a burst water main between Locket Road and Harrow & Wealdstone Station.
Bus routes affected include the 140, 182, 186, 258, 340, 640, UL13, H9 and H10.
Some residents in the HA1, HA2, HA3, HA7 postcode areas had no water, it has since been restored.

Affinity Water apologised in an alert on their website for the lack of water in Wealdstone due to a burst water main on High Street.
They have dispatched a technician to investigate and restore the water supply promptly.
In a statement issued to Harrow Online, a spokesperson for Affinity Water said: “Affinity Water have been made aware of a burst water pipe on High Street, Wealdstone, Harrow HA3 5DL.
“As a result of this, there is disruption to water supplies in Harrow, Harrow Weald, North Harrow, Kenton, Wealdstone, Hatchend, Stanmore & Belmont (HA1, HA2, HA3 and HA7).
“Affinity Water have a road closure in place on Wealdstone High Street whilst their teams work to repair the water main.
“Affinity Water appreciates the disrupt this may have with businesses and customers in the areas, but they are doing everything they possibly can to investigate the area and get the water flowing as soon as possible for you.
“During this time, they’re asking customers in the area to avoid using the following to preserve the water supply until the normal water supply is renewed,
• Washing machine
• Dishwasher
• Electrical appliances that use water
“In case your water needs switching off for the repair, they have recommended you put some in your kettle or fridge for drinking [but are sending out water supplies in the meantime.
“Affinity Water apologies for this and they are working extremely hard to get your water back to normal as soon as possible.”

Water restored
Affinity Water published the following update: “Water has been restored. All customers should have water, although some may experience lower pressure than normal. If you live in a flat or have a shared water supply, you’re more likely to be affected by lower pressure.
“Two water mains have burst on Wealdstone High Street and Bishop Ken Road. We’ve closed Wealdstone High Street while our team work safely on the repair. A traffic diversion is currently in place. Unfortunately, this is a difficult repair, and the road is likely to be closed for a few days. We’re sorry for the disruption this may cause.
“Customers on our Priority Services Register have been contacted directly about receiving bottled water.”
