Harrow Leisure Centre has announced the long-awaited reopening of its popular climbing wall after a significant period of closure.
The centre is launching an exciting new program aimed at revitalizing climbing activities within the facility. With a range of offerings catering to both adults and juniors, participants can now experience the thrill of scaling the walls and exploring the world of climbing.
To kickstart the climbing program, Harrow Leisure Centre is providing opportunities for both adults and juniors to try out the wall and discover the excitement that climbing has to offer. Whether you are a seasoned climber or a complete beginner, the climbing wall has something for everyone. The centre aims to expand the climbing program in the future, but for now, they are excited to share the current possibilities available to climbers.
On Tuesdays, the climbing program takes centre stage with a variety of engaging sessions:
Junior Climbing Tasters – A one-hour taster session designed for young climbers aged 7 to 11. These sessions will be held on the 13th and 20th of June, from 17:30 to 18:30.
Junior Climbing Tasters – Another one-hour taster session, but this time catering to climbers aged 12 to 15. The dates for these sessions are the 27th of June and the 4th of July, from 17:30 to 18:30.
Adult Climbing Tasters – Geared towards adults who want to experience climbing for themselves, these one-hour taster sessions will take place on the 13th, 20th, 27th of June, and the 4th of July, from 18:30 to 19:30.
Adult Beginners Climbing Course – For those who wish to delve deeper into the world of climbing, a four-week climbing course is available. Starting on the 13th of June and concluding on the 4th of July, this course will run from 19:30 to 21:00.
After the 4th of July, the centre plans to introduce additional programs to cater to various skill levels and interests, ensuring there is something for everyone. To participate in any climbing activity, all individuals must complete a registration form, which is conveniently available at the centre.
