Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Pinner

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Pinner Green this evening.

A large police presence was reported by members of the Harrow Online Group on facebook with reports of a helicopter seen in the Tudor Road, Pinner Hill Road area.

Police have now confirmed that a man was stabbed and a police chase took place ending in Tudor Road where a man was arrested.

The news comes after another stabbing happened in Harrow this evening, at Locket Road in Wealdstone.

Police statement on Pinner stabbing

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called to Pinner Green, Ruislip, at 18.04hrs on Sunday, 11 June to reports of a stabbing.

“Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS). A man was found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and his condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.

“After a short police chase, a man was arrested in Tudor Road, Pinner, on suspicion of causing GBH. He has been taken into custody.

“A crime scene has been put in place. Enquiries continue.”

Police arrest female in Pinner after knives recovered from vehicle

Hillingdon Police have confirmed that a ‘linked female’ was also arrested after knives were allegedly found in her vehicle.

In a tweet, they said: “#WestAreaVSU team 2 assisted response team officers and trojan firearm officers today in arresting a male for a stabbing in #pinner. A linked female was found nearby and also arrested after these were found in her vehicle.”
