Emergency services rushed to Harrow Weald this morning after reports of an assault at around 10:25am.
The incident was reported by a member of Harrow Online Group who sent images of the scene which showed a man being treated on the floor.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (14 June) at 10:50am to reports of an assault on College Avenue, Harrow Weald.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a medic in a fast-response car to the scene.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital.”
A spokesperson for Met Police said in a statement: “Police were called at approximately 10:25hrs on Wednesday, 14 June to reports of a man assaulted in College Avenue, Harrow.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and treated the man – no further details – for a head injury; condition awaits.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
“A crime scene remains in place.”
