Wembley Park is set to be immersed in Spanish culture as the highly anticipated Feria de Londres festival makes its triumphant return to London.
Celebrating its 6th anniversary, the festival promises an unforgettable experience in its new location, Wembley Park, from July 29th to 30th. Feria de Londres, one of the largest celebrations of Spanish culture in the UK, will bring the colourful and lively spirit of Andalusia to Wembley this summer for the first time ever.
Wembley Park will come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavours of Spain, with numerous ‘casetas’ (marquees) serving a delightful array of Spanish food and drink. Festival-goers can indulge in traditional dishes like paellas, Tortilla de Patatas, pinchos, and jamon Ibérico.
For those with a sweet tooth, authentic churros and mouth-watering croquetas will be available to satisfy their cravings. To complement the culinary delights, bars will be serving up refreshing ‘Rebujito’ cocktails, a favourite in Andalusia, as well as chilled Cerveza Victoria from Malaga and other tempting beverages.
The festival will feature three key areas, each offering a unique experience. Market Square will welcome visitors with a bustling atmosphere, featuring food traders, bars, and a free stage showcasing a diverse program of entertainment. Festival-goers can enjoy live flamenco performances by Rebeca Ortega, music by Jerez-based singer Jose Moneo, and captivating dance routines.
In Arena Square, an interactive space awaits, offering dance classes including Sevillana and Rumba workshops for those eager to learn the steps. Families will also find a range of activities to enjoy, along with DJ entertainment to keep the atmosphere lively and energetic.
The Feria Stage, a new addition to the festival, will be the highlight of the evening events. This ticketed area will host an exciting lineup of live music, featuring renowned Spanish artists such as flamenco dancer, singer, and rapper Tomasito, singer and guitarist Muchachito, and Barcelona rumba band Rumbakana. Tickets can be purchased in advance for the evening performances, which will run from 4 pm to 11 pm.
Feria de Londres aims to create a memorable experience for attendees of all ages and interests. From spirit tastings and workshops to live music and art, there will be something for everyone. With its new location at Wembley Park, this year’s festival promises to be the biggest and most captivating Feria de Londres yet.
