Two incidents of theft have left South Harrow residents on high alert this week.
Lisa Saunders, a dedicated South Harrow PCSO, reported the theft of a Black Cobra Scooter and a Black Haibike Sduro Trekking Electric Bike in separate incidents on Drinkwater Road and Northolt Road, respectively.
The Black Cobra Scooter with the vehicle registration mark (VRM) LJ67HGD was stolen overnight on Thursday, June 22nd, from a communal area within a flat on Drinkwater Road.
Just two days later, on Saturday, June 24th, between 07:30am and 09:00am, a Black Haibike Sduro Trekking Electric Bike was snatched from outside Costa Coffee on Northolt Road.
The bike had been securely fastened to the railings with a padlock, which was found cut when the owner returned after a brief visit inside the café.
PCSO Lisa Saunders, who has been actively addressing community concerns, noted the importance of taking proactive measures to prevent such crimes.
She shared two crime prevention links, to help residents to familiarise themselves with vital information:

2. Keeping Your Bike Safe: Link
These links provide valuable tips and guidance on safeguarding personal property and ensuring the security of vehicles and bicycles.
Local authorities are working diligently to investigate the incidents, and PCSO Saunders has urged anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in bringing the culprits to justice. She also encourages residents to report any suspicious activity promptly.
