Firefighters rushed to a blaze involving two houses on Wendover Close in Hayes this morning (June 27).
In a statement, London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire on Wendover Close in Hayes this morning (June 27).
“Two houses, a garden shed and garden fencing were damaged by fire. Four adults and eight children left the properties before firefighters arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers received eight calls about the fire.
“The Brigade was called at 0501 and the fire was under control by 0658. Crews from Southall and Northolt fire stations attended the scene.”
