Jyoti Patel, a 34-year-old entrepreneur, embarked on her dream of showcasing Indian cuisine by launching this exciting business venture. Located just a stone’s throw away from Edgware station, The Spice Box promises a sensational dining experience with its distinctive spice blends and menu.
Featuring an enticing range of appetisers, main courses, and mouthwatering desserts, The Spice Box is quickly becoming the go-to place in the area. “It’s important to be part of the community; I not only have a business in the area, but I also live in the area”, says Jyoti.
“All my life, we’ve been brought up to look after our family and community so as soon as we opened, I wanted to build a connection with the local foodbank so we have a place where we can send food that isn’t eaten.”
While most of the food at The Spice Box is cooked to order, the close ties with local food banks will ensure that no food goes to waste. Any excess or unused food will be redirected to support those facing food insecurity in the community.
