A police chase through Ruislip last night ended as a male reversed his vehicle into a police vehicle before fleeing the scene, he was swiftly caught and arrested.
Images sent to Harrow Online showed a large number of police on Field End Road outside Eastcote Station shortly before midnight.
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Late on Monday, 26 June police were in pursuit of a suspected lost or stolen vehicle on the A40 Hangar Lane.
“The pursuit ended after the vehicle crashed at around 23:45hrs in Field End Road, Ruislip.
“The car reversed into a police vehicle before a male decamped. He was quickly detained.
“He was taken to hospital as a precaution before going into custody. He was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving.
“No reports of any injuries to members of the public or officers.”
