Harrow View witnessed a collision at the Quadrant junction with Headstone Lane last night, leading to a prolonged road closure by the police.
The incident occurred at around 10:20pm resulting in the junction being blocked in all directions for around 2 hours, eventually cleared at 12:30am. London Ambulance Service treated a person at the scene prior to taking them to hospital.
People travelling via H9, H10, and H14 were affected by the closure and busses were subsequently diverted.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.25pm yesterday (3 July) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction between Harrow View and Headstone Drive, Harrow.
“We sent two ambulance crews to the scene and treated a patient before taking them to hospital.”
Harrow Online also approached Met Police for a statement who provided the following info, “Officers were called at 22:20hrs on Monday, 3 July to Headstone Gardens near the junction with Harrow View, Harrow.
“Two cars were reported to have been in collision.
“LAS attended, those in the cars did not suffer life-threatening or changing injuries.
“The road was closed due to the presence of the damaged vehicles.
“The roads were reopened at about 00:35hrs.”
