Police cordon spotted in Stanmore after ‘unexpected’ death of man

A police cordon was put in place in Stanmore on Friday (7 July) after a man was found unresponsive on Julius Caesar Way.

Members of Harrow Online Group sent images showing the cordon at the junction of Brockley Hill at around 1pm.

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 11.54hrs on Friday, 7 July to reports of an unresponsive man at Julius Caesar Way, Stanmore.

“The 22-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

“Next of kin are aware.

“The death is being treated as unexpected, but it is not thought to be suspicious.

“A file will be prepared for the Coroner.”
