Police responded to an incident in Harrow Town Centre this evening after reports of a man ‘threatening and assaulting people’.
A police officer was reportedly assaulted by the same individual shortly after 6pm in College Road.
Images and footage sent to Harrow Online showed a large police presence outside Harrow on the Hill station.
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 18:07hrs to reports of a man assaulting and threatening people in College Road, Harrow.
“Officers responded.
“A man was arrested. He was further arrested on suspicion of assault on police.
“No reports of any serious injuries.”
