A serious collision in Northwood this afternoon has resulted in multiple road closures.
Police have confirmed that a collision involving one vehicle happened shortly before 2pm today.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “Police were called at around 1.55pm today (Thursday 13 July) following a serious single-vehicle road traffic collision on The Woods, Northwood, at the junction with Sandy Lane.
“Officers are at the scene, alongside colleagues from the fire service, ambulance service and air ambulance.
“The Woods, Sandy Lane and Watford Road are closed, and motorists are asked to please avoid the area and to seek an alternative route.”
