A fire has been reported this afternoon at the transport hub in Harrow, situated next to Harrow Leisure Centre car park.
This marks the third fire in this particular location that we have covered in the past few weeks. According to a member of Harrow Online, it is the fifth fire they have witnessed in the area recently.
Three tonnes of waste were destroyed by the fire.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “We were called at 1628 and the incident was over by 1730.
“Two fire engines and around ten firefighters from Northolt and Wembley fire stations were at the scene.
“A container converted into an office and approx. 3 tonnes of waste were destroyed by fire.”
