Kenton Road in Harrow was closed off by police after a collision this afternoon.
Four people, including two police officers, have been taken to hospital.
The collision happened shortly before 1:30pm as emergency services rushed to the scene, London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and Met Police were all in attendance and the road remains closed.
Kenton Lane was blocked off at the junction with Peterborough Roads with the 182, 186, 223, 483, H14 and H19 bus routes all on diversion.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Officers were alerted at 13:34hrs on Wednesday, 19 July that there had been a collision between a police van and a car, driven by a member of the public, on Kenton Road, Harrow,
Officers, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended the scene.
“Two members of the public and two police officers were injured in the collision.
“All four have been taken to hospital- condition awaits.
“Local road closures are in place while emergency services deal.”
