Ruislip Road in Northolt was closed off at the junction with the White Hart Roundabout due to a collision at around 7:30am.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “At around 07:32hrs officers were called to a traffic collision involving a moped and a pedestrian.
“Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
“The pedestrian suffered injuries and has been taken to a nearby hospital.
“The injuries are non-life threatening.
“No arrests have been made.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.15am today (1 August) to reports of a road traffic collision between a motorcycle and a pedestrian on Ruislip Road, Northolt.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, medics in two fast response cars and an incident response officer.
“We treated a man at the scene for a head injury before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
