Roadworks in Harrow could cause delays on Kenton Lane and Headstone Lane

Two major roads in Harrow are set for over one weeks worth of roadworks over the coming days, potentially causing delays.

Residents of Harrow are advised to plan their routes carefully as roadworks are scheduled to commence on Kenton Lane and Headstone Lane, both will be affected by the upcoming maintenance.

From August 3 to August 10, Headstone Lane will experience roadworks with traffic control managed through two-way signals. The responsible authority for these works is Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

Although delays are likely during this period, the impact is expected to be somewhat mitigated due to the ongoing school summer holidays.

Likewise, from August 3 to August 7, Kenton Lane will undergo roadworks with traffic control managed through stop/go boards.

The works on Kenton Lane will likely affect traffic flow in Belmont and onto Kenton Road. The London Borough of Harrow (LBH) will be overseeing the planned works, aiming to minimise disruptions as much as possible.

While the works may cause some delays, the coordination during the summer holidays should alleviate the severity of the impact.
