A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Uxbridge High Street this afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly after 3pm in front of horrified members of the public.
A spokesperson for Met Police said in a statement: “Police were called at about 15:15hrs on Tuesday, 1 August to reports of a man stabbed on Uxbridge High Street.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. A 21-year-old man was taken to a central London hospital for treatment and his condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.
“A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He has been taken to a west London police station.
“A crime scene is in place. Enquiries continue.”
