Police issue warning after overnight burglaries in South Harrow

MPS Roxeth have recently tweeted about two overnight burglaries that took place in South Harrow.

The incidents occurred on Corfe Avenue and Northolt Road, near the vicinity of Kwik Fit.

The first break-in was reported at a property on Corfe Avenue, where the intruders gained entry through the front door. The second burglary took place on Northolt Road, with the perpetrators accessing the premises through a ground floor window.

The burglaries are said to have happened between 12:40am and 3:00pm.

PCSO Louise Nicholson, Watch Liaison Officer, posted a warning via the Online Watch Link (OWL) system, urging the community to take extra precautions. She emphasised that it’s essential not to keep substantial amounts of cash or valuable jewellery at home, as these items appeared to be the primary targets of the burglars.

Additionally, passports were among the items stolen during these distressing incidents.

The burglaries involved untidy searches within the properties, indicating a clear motive to steal valuable possessions.
