Barclays has announced the closure of its Kingsbury branch on November 10th, reflecting changing customer preferences.
Explaining the reasoning behind the decision, Barclays noted a review of branch usage and customer banking habits.
It was revealed that a 92% of individuals who used the Kingsbury branch had also engaged with alternative banking methods, such as the app, online services, and phone banking during the year 2021.
Furthermore, the data indicated that less than 10 regular customers relied exclusively on the branch for their banking needs.
Despite the closure, Barclays remains committed to serving the community through alternative channels and have been gathering feedback from customers which will be shared transparently to address concerns.
