Signage goes up for Dunelm at former John Lewis Watford unit

Earlier this year, Dunelm revealed plans for a new store at Atria Watford, taking over the former John Lewis unit that closed in 2020.

The 33,000 sq ft store is set to open later this year, although the exact date has yet to be confirmed.

Recently, noticeable signage has been put in place, adding to the growing anticipation for the upcoming opening.

Andrew Hamilton, Dunelm’s Director of Store Experience, commented on the strategic location of the new store, stating, “We’re delighted to have found a new home for our latest Dunelm store in Atria Watford, which provides us with an ideal location to serve the local community, bringing to them a huge range of homewares that is an unbeatable combination of quality and value.”

It’ll be interesting to see how the store is received by residents, it has has a mostly positive reception so far on social media and looks set to be another popular addition to the town centre of our neighbouring borough.
