With an impressive 16 cherished charity shops already making a difference in the community, St Luke’s continues to expand its impact by offering an enhanced shopping and donating experience.
The new Donation Centre & Superstore, which officially opened its doors yesterday, August 14th, promises to be a haven for local bargain hunters. Strategically located behind Harrow Crown Court, the Centre boasts easy accessibility with ample free parking, making every visit simple.
Harrow residents now have the convenience of dropping off donations of all sizes, including high-quality furniture, any day of the week. And while they’re at it, supporters can indulge in a spot of shopping, exploring a captivating range of pre-loved treasures.
Fashionistas, collectors, and home decorators alike will be enchanted by the array of pre-loved clothing, accessories, furniture, toys, and vintage finds that the Superstore proudly offers. For tech-savvy shoppers, a glimpse into St Luke’s eBay store can be experienced in person, giving a tangible touch to the online shopping experience. Buyers also have the option to collect their eBay purchases directly from the store, saving on postage costs.

Mos Pracdel, the husband of a patient who very sadly lost her life to cancer, explains why this care is so vital, “Poppy was everything in my life and losing her shattered my world, but my lasting memory of the last few days of her life are thanks to the wonderful care that she got from everyone at St Luke’s. I will always have a somehow happy memory.
“I will cherish the last few days of her life, clearly not because of the experience itself, but because of the way that the wonderful staff looked after her. That will always stay with me.”
