Roxeth Park has become the focus of police efforts in response to growing concerns about drug-related activities and anti-social behaviour.
The Roxeth Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) in South Harrow has ramped up patrols to tackle the issue head-on.
A recent post on the OWL network has shed light on reports from members of the public who noted groups of males engaging in drug dealing, substance abuse, and alcohol consumption within the park premises throughout various times of the day and night.
The situation came to a head on Friday (August 11th) when Roxeth SNT Officers made an arrest for drug supply within the park, seizing a significant quantity of drugs.
PCSO Lisa Saunders posted: “Roxeth SNT Officers arrested a male for supplying drugs in the park, a large amount of drugs were seized in the process.”
Roxeth SNT Officers conducted a stop and search on the following Saturday night, detaining four individuals.
