Police taped off several vehicles on Belsize Road, Harrow Weald on Tuesday (29 August) this week.
Concerned residents first reported seeing police in the area at around 6am on Tuesday morning.
The cordon stretched the end of the road, towards Uxbridge Road, and was in place for at least six hours.
A local resident told Harrow Online they are concerned as there has been ‘suspicious activity’ on the road recently. They said: “This morning about 6am parked at the bottom of the road on left as if you were entering Uxbridge road. At 8.30am there was a police officer guarding them and 3 cars were taped off with police tape?
“I only want to know as we have had suspicious activity on our road – a black van driving up and down and then I had two incidents where someone was on my drive looking around my vehicle. I wondered if the two were connected.
“Police never did anything or call me back to investigate but it is making us that live on the road very unsettled.”
